Costco Wholesale celebrates grand opening at the Crossgates Mall Complex in Albany

Albany, NY According to Pyramid Management Group, Costco Wholesale celebrated its grand opening, adjacent to Crossgates, marking the culmination of a project many years in the making.

The new Costco location, now part of the Crossgates Mall Complex which includes Crossgates Mall and Crossgates Commons, is the only Costco in the Capital Region. This transformative addition further cements the property’s position as the region’s leading shopping, dining, and entertainment destination. The opening reflects Pyramid’s long-term vision and sustained commitment to evolving Crossgates to meet the needs of the community it serves.

The addition of Costco underscores continued momentum at Crossgates, as Pyramid Management Group continues to invest in and reimagine the property for the next generation of shoppers. The mall recently welcomed REI Co-Op, Crunch Fitness, and Primark. Later this year, the mall will welcome Barnes & Noble, Ashley Furniture, and several more exciting new tenants. The new Costco location is expected to draw significant regional traffic, generate new jobs, and further strengthen Crossgates as an economic engine for the region.
