(NAIDB), a full-service CRE brokerage firm focused on the Central and Northern New Jersey markets, has released its First Half (H1) 2026 Commercial Real Estate Market Report, offering insight into industrial, office and retail sector performance in seven of the Garden State’s counties.

The comprehensive report analyzes sales transactions and provides a detailed breakdown of activity across the key submarkets of Middlesex, Somerset, Union, Essex, Morris, Mercer and Hunterdon counties.

KEY REPORT HIGHLIGHTS:
$1.4 billion total sales volume: Total commercial real estate sales volume across industrial, office and retail asset types reached $1.4 billion in the first half of 2026.

Market Stability: Overall volume remained stable and consistent with spring 2025 levels, despite a slight decrease in total transaction count across the region.

Asset Class Breakdown:
• Industrial: 65% of total sales volume
• Office: 19% of total sales volume
• Retail: 17% of total sales volume

Middlesex County Outperforms: Continuing its historical trend of substantial trading activity, this Central NJ metro outperformed all other covered submarkets, generating $462 million in total volume. Middlesex posted the region’s largest individual industrial, retail and office trades of H1 2026 (excluding the Anheuser-Busch industrial sale).

Geographic Coverage: The report tracks data strictly limited to seven core New Jersey counties [Middlesex, Somerset, Union, Essex, Morris, Mercer and Hunterdon].
