One Domino Square’s Penthouse 1B breaks North Brooklyn record with $7.75 million sale
Brooklyn, NY Two Trees Management Co., a Brooklyn-based, family-owned real estate development firm, today announced that Penthouse 1B at One Domino Square is in contract for $7.75 million. This home is both the largest and most expensive in the building, and the highest-priced Sponsor sale in North Brooklyn history, surpassing the previous record-setting $7.45 million sale of Penthouse 1A.
One Domino Square is over 75% sold and has achieved over $340 million in sales to date. The building was New York City’s top-selling building in May, with seven units sold throughout the month. Earlier this year, Penthouse 3A, the tallest home on the waterfront, broke the record for the most expensive sponsor sale in Brooklyn history by price per square foot ($3,313), surpassing the previous record by 9%.
Penthouse 1B is a 2,714 s/f three-bedroom, three-and-a-half-bathroom duplex offering sweeping south and west views of the full Manhattan skyline, the Statue of Liberty, and the Brooklyn, Manhattan, and Williamsburg Bridges. The private primary suite occupies the upper level, offering a true sanctuary with a spacious den and wet bar that opens to 674 s/f of outdoor space and Williamsburg’s views. The ensuite bathroom features floor-to-ceiling windows, a double vanity, a glass-enclosed shower, and a freestanding 60-inch soaking tub.
“We’ve seen exceptional demand for One Domino Square in recent weeks, with a particularly strong May, and the sale of the building’s highest-priced penthouse further builds on that momentum,” said Aaron Goed, sales director at Two Trees Management. “This home represents the pinnacle of the One Domino Square offering, combining extraordinary design, expansive living spaces, and unparalleled views of the East River and Manhattan skyline.”
Designed inside and out by renowned architect Annabelle Selldorf of Selldorf Architects, the striking pearlescent building features an iridescent porcelain façade that reflects the waterfront and natural light throughout the day, creating an ever-changing presence on the New York City skyline. The podium façade is comprised of light grey granite with custom reflective back-painted grey glass spandrels wrapping around each level to enhance the luminous character further. Inside, residences have luxury finishes that elevate everyday living, spacious open-plan layouts, high ceilings, and oversized, tilt-and-turn windows that provide views of the water and cityscape from every unit.
