A groundbreaking ceremony was held recently to mark the start of construction of Phase I of the College of Aeronautics' expansion program. The $10.1 million in work is the first element of a larger program of upgrades that the College of Aeronautics is undertaking to secure the institution's place as a technologically cutting-edge member of the aviation industry. York Hunter is the construction manager for the work in Phase I, which includes a new hangar/laboratory building, classroom building with an observation tower, engine observation cell building, and a new entrance lobby for the existing facility. York Hunter will also manage site landscaping and other site development as part of the first phase.
