Olshan Properties secures two new retailers along Metropolitan Ave. in Parkchester
Manhattan, NY Olshan Properties, a private owner, developer and operator of commercial real estate, has completed the addition of two popular retailers to Parkchester. Wonder and Buffalo Wild Wings GO (BWW GO) are set occupy approximately 6,000 s/f on Metropolitan Ave. These additions mark the latest milestone along Parkchester’s commercial corridor, bringing new dining options to a community with a growing appetite for vibrant retail offerings.
Wonder, a delivery and takeout company revolutionizing the restaurant scene by housing cuisines from multiple restaurants at a single location, has signed a 4,409 s/f lease at 1498 Metropolitan Ave. The diverse dining destination is expected to open on April 20, 2026.
Additionally, BWW GO, a spinoff of Buffalo Wild Wings, replaces the chain’s traditional restaurant concept with a smaller format focused on takeout and delivery. The new 1,600 s/f location at 1443 Metropolitan Ave. presents a convenient way to get wings, burgers, wraps. BWW GO opened in December 2025.

Located in the Central Bronx, Parkchester features access via the Cross Bronx Expressway (I95) and the Bronx River Pkwy. as well as numerous subway and bus lines. Parkchester and the immediate surrounding area provides an abundance of worker- and family-oriented resources, including access to public transportation, schools, churches, retail shopping space, office space and proximity to major medical centers such as Westchester Square Medical Center, the Jacobi Medical Center and Saint Barnabas Hospital.
Parkchester includes more than 12,000 residential units, over 60 street level retail units and 32 upper-level office spaces spread out over 129 acres of land. A 170,000 s/f Macy’s anchors the retail part of Parkchester. Other retailers in the area include Starbucks, Walgreens, Five Below, Bank of America and Sleepy’s Mattress, as well as multiple restaurants and clothing stores. There are many doctors’ offices in the center due to the convenience of the proximity to the local hospitals. Additional office uses include community centers, daycare facilities and a beauty school.
