Canvas Property Group appoints Dolisi managing director, head of investments

Manhattan, NY Canvas Property Group (CPG) has appointed Frank Dolisi as managing director, head of investments. In his new role, Dolisi will lead investment activity across the New York City market while driving the firm’s strategic expansion into additional target markets across the U.S.

Dolisi brings 15 years of real estate private equity experience to CPG, with a track record spanning large and complex transactions across both equity and credit. He joins from The Brooksville Company, a New York City-based owner and operator of multifamily real estate, where he served as senior vice president and led the investment team. During his tenure at Brooksville, the team transacted on more than $2.5 billion of multifamily assets across the New York City metro area.

Prior to Brooksville, Dolisi was a partner at Requus Capital.

 where he focused on early and growth stage real estate technology venture capital investments. Earlier in his career, he held investment roles at KKR’s Real Estate Credit Group, focused on CMBS securities and whole loan origination, and at Rialto Capital’s Investment Management team, where he invested across NPL portfolios, CMBS B-Pieces, mezzanine loans, and equity opportunities.
