Cyril Lignac debuts in NYC with Bar des Prés and two new concepts at Rudin’s 345 Park Ave.
Manhattan, NY Bar des Prés, the internationally acclaimed Franco-East Asian restaurant, helmed by celebrated chef Cyril Lignac, is set to make its grand entrance into New York City. Following successful openings in Paris, London, Dubai and St. Bart’s, this will be its sixth location, bringing its unique blend of French and Japanese.
Alongside Bar des Prés, two new concepts by chef Lignac will open at 345 Park Ave. A contemporary French brasserie and an artisanal French bakery and café. This trio of concepts from the Cyril Lignac Group and D.ream International – the global restaurant group behind international venues such as Zuma, Amazonico, and Coya – are set to launch at the Rudin-owned building in early 2027.
Bar des Prés New York will offer a menu that blends Lignac’s French culinary expertise with Japanese precision and creativity, showcasing seasonal ingredients while honouring traditional techniques. The menu features an array of signature dishes such as langoustine ravioli in bisque with Sichuan pepper, salmon tiradito with tosazu jelly and yuzu pepper, and Brittany blue lobster salad with elderflower vinaigrette. Guests will be treated to a selection of delicate plates, crafted with the finest ingredients. The dessert menu pays homage to Cyril Lignac’s roots as a master pastry chef, offering creations that celebrate classic French pastries. Highlights include vanilla mille feuille with pecan praline and apple tarte fine with caramel and vanilla ice cream.
The restaurant’s design, inspired by Parisian elegance, will transport guests to a chic 1950s wine bar, with rich mahogany accents, and a red, blue and brown colour palette. Open for both lunch and dinner, the dining area is designed to cater to a range of experiences, from intimate meals to lively social gatherings. The restaurant will be located at street level.
