Melville, NY The Commercial Industrial Brokers Society of Long Island (CIBS) hosted an AI Learning Workshop for Commercial Real Estate Professionals at the RXR Building in Melville, where more than 75 CIBS members and industry professionals gathered to explore how artificial intelligence is beginning to transform the commercial real estate industry.

The program featured Jonathan Buckelew, co-founder of CRE AI Studio, an AI education platform focused on helping commercial real estate professionals integrate artificial intelligence into their day-to-day work. Buckelew shared practical demonstrations and real-world examples of how brokers, asset managers, and industry leaders can leverage AI tools to improve research, underwriting, marketing, and client communication.

“Artificial intelligence is quickly becoming an important tool for commercial real estate professionals, and our goal was to provide our members with practical insights they can begin applying immediately,” said Ralph Benzakein, president of CIBS and senior vice president at Cresa. “The strong turnout this morning shows just how eager our industry is to better understand how technology can enhance productivity, decision-making, and client service.”

Buckelew emphasized that AI should be viewed as an enhancement to professional expertise rather than a replacement for it. “The most successful brokers and real estate professionals will be the ones who learn how to combine their market knowledge and relationships with AI-powered tools,” said Jonathan Buckelew, co-founder of CRE AI Studio. “When used effectively, AI can dramatically improve efficiency and help professionals spend more time on strategy, relationships, and dealmaking.”

The event was moderated by Benzakein and included an interactive discussion with attendees about how technology is reshaping brokerage, asset management, and market analysis across the commercial real estate industry.

Through educational programs like this workshop, CIBS continues to provide members with opportunities to stay ahead of industry trends while strengthening collaboration and professional development within the Long Island commercial real estate community.
