The UPS Store signs 3,900 s/f retail lease at 149 West 36th St. in Midtown South

Manhattan, NY According to Lee & Associates NYC, The UPS Store, a shipping, printing and business services retailer, has signed a 10-year lease for 3,900 s/f at 149 West 36th St. in the Garment District.

The lease comprises 2,000 s/f on the ground floor, along with 1,900 s/f in the basement level. The tenant is expected to take occupancy in May 2026.

Lee & Associates NYC’s Todd Korren and Noah Caspi represented the landlord, Frangene Co. Kenneth Kronstadt of Newmark represented the tenant.

The UPS Store will relocate from a nearby location, expanding its footprint to better serve the surrounding neighborhood. The new space offers street frontage and increased visibility in one of Midtown South’s most active corridors.

“The UPS Store’s decision to expand and remain in the neighborhood speaks to the strength of the Garment District as a dynamic, mixed-use destination with a built-in customer base spanning office workers, residents and visitors,” said Korren.

The previous tenant at the space was Fashion Terminal Inc.
