GFP Real Estate signs three leases totaling 9,370 s/f at 247 West 37th St.

Manhattan, NY GFP Real Estate negotiated three recent lease transactions at 247 West 37th St., totaling 9,370 s/f across office and retail space at the Garment District property.
In the first transaction, AJC Trading Inc. signed a new 10-year, six-month lease for 3,472 s/f on the seventh floor. The company will utilize the space for general and executive offices as well as light manufacturing operations. Woody King of Lee & Associates NYC represented the tenant in the transaction.
In the second transaction, Sadie Nash Leadership Project Inc., a nonprofit organization focused on empowering young women and gender-expansive youth through leadership programs, signed a new 10-year lease for 3,366 s/f on the seventh floor. The space will be used for administrative offices and programming, and will include classroom areas, offices and workstations constructed as part of a turnkey installation provided by the landlord. Eshaan Gandhi of OPEN Impact Real Estate, a brokerage firm that specializing in advising nonprofit organizations on their real estate needs, represented Sadie Nash Leadership Project in its lease.
In the third transaction, Lauren Trimming, Inc., an accessories and trims supplier serving the fashion industry, signed a lease extension for its ground-floor retail store. The tenant occupies 2,532 s/f on the ground floor, 1,100 s/f on the mezzanine and 2,011 s/f in the basement, continuing its long-standing presence at the building. Matthew Mandell of GFP Real Estate represented the tenant in the direct lease.
