GFP Real Estate signs five new leases totaling 14,175 s/f at 171 Madison Ave.

Manhattan, NY GFP Real Estate, LLC has executed five new office leases at 171 Madison Ave., underscoring continued demand for high-quality, boutique office space in Midtown South. The transactions include new commitments totaling more than 14,000 s/f of new leasing activity to the property.

• Verneek Inc., a NYC-based deeptech AI startup with the mission of “building the most helpful AI to augment the intelligence of anyone, anywhere, at any time,” signed a lease for 6,750 s/f, encompassing a portion of the 16th floor and the entire 17th floor. The six-year lease provides Verneek with a full-floor presence and dedicated outdoor space, with possession targeted for April 1, following completion of landlord’s work. Bradley Cohn of Adams & Company Real Estate represented the tenant.

• MGCU Holdings, Inc., part of Marubeni Growth Capital US — a division of Marubeni Corp., a global trading and investment company operating across industries including energy, food, logistics and manufacturing — signed a four-year lease for 2,975 s/f of executive and administrative offices on the 10th floor. Allen Gurevich represented the landlord, GFP Real Estate, in the transaction. Daniel Thompson of Cushman & Wakefield represented the tenant.

• Elisabete Rodrigues Design LLC, a showroom and design studio, signed a six-year lease for 2,150 s/f on the 13th floor. The tenant will use the space for showroom and administrative offices. Corey Shuster of Corcoran Real Estate represented the tenant.

• K International Transport Co., Inc., an international transport company specializing in door-to-door shipping of vehicles and heavy construction equipment, signed a lease for 1,250 s/f on the 12th floor. The five-year lease will provide new general and executive office space. Matthew Colavita of GFP Real Estate represented the tenant.

• American Info Systems, LLC, a full service technology firm specializing in the strategic planning, execution and support of information technology, signed a new five-year lease for 1,050 s/f general and executive office space on the 12th floor. Colavita of GFP represented the tenant.

Located one block from the Empire State Building, 171 Madison Ave.’s neo-classical façade is brick with applied masonry. Access to the 6 train is one block away with further connections available at nearby Grand Central Terminal.
