Queens, NY Cord Meyer Development has signed a long-term lease with North Shore Community Services, Inc. for an 8,059 s/f medical office at its mixed-use property The Forester, located at 111-15 Queens Blvd. in Forest Hills. The second-floor space will be developed as a Northwell Health OBGYN clinic, further strengthening access to high-quality healthcare services in the community. The practice is expected to open this fall.

The transaction was brokered by Glenn Isaacson, president, Bradford Allen Realty Services. Cord Meyer vice president of leasing and Matthew O’Grady represented ownership.

“This lease reflects the continued demand for well-located, transit-oriented medical office space in Forest Hills,” said O’Grady. “Cord Meyer is proud to welcome a Northwell-affiliated practice to The Forester and to support the delivery of comprehensive women’s healthcare services in the neighborhood.”

Located along the Queens Blvd. corridor, The Forester offers below-ground parking and direct access to multiple subway lines and bus routes. The addition of a Northwell Health OBGYN clinic enhances the building’s tenant mix while serving the growing healthcare needs of residents throughout the surrounding Queens communities.

“Healthcare providers play a vital role in our portfolio, offering essential services to the community while contributing dependable, long-term occupancy that supports the strength of our assets,” said O’Grady. “In addition to recently signing ENT and Allergy Associates to the Cord Meyer Office Building at 108-18 Queens Blvd. in Forest Hills, we’re now offering Class A medical space at our seven-story mixed-use project under development at 90-32 Queens Blvd. in Elmhurst, Queens.”
