What current or recently completed project, accomplishment or initiative are you most excited about, and why does it matter for your team, clients or community?
One initiative I’m proud of is helping lead Structure Tone’s Women in Construction group. We’ve expanded programs that blend professional development with community impact, from clothing drives to volunteer days, plus site visits and career workshops. These efforts build confidence for emerging talent and strengthen connections across teams. When people feel supported, they bring that energy to their work and help create a more collaborative, inclusive industry.
What do you wish more women knew about the opportunities available in the construction industry today?
I wish more women knew how expansive and dynamic the construction industry has become. Opportunities exist far beyond what is traditional — project management, estimating, design, sustainability, technology, finance. The industry values problem solving, collaboration, and leadership, offering real opportunities for growth and impact. Today, construction is innovative and evolving, with more companies actively investing in mentorship, professional development, and creating supportive communities. There is space at the table — and increasingly, women are helping shape the direction of the industry.
What is something outside of work that brings you energy, balance or creativity?
Traveling and sharing meals with loved ones helps me recharge and find fresh perspective. I love trying new restaurants!
