What current or recently completed project, accomplishment or initiative are you most excited about, and why does it matter for your team, clients or community? I’m most proud of leading an internal communications initiative aligning corporate strategy, including new technology and process improvements, with employees’ day-to-day roles. By clearly connecting business priorities to practical work on site and in offices, adoption improved and teams felt more supported and engaged, resulting in smoother collaboration, stronger performance, and better outcomes for clients and communities.

What is one piece of advice or perspective you would share with women beginning their careers in the construction industry? Don’t shrink yourself to fit into a room. Find or help create spaces that allow you to grow and be yourself. Being clear, direct, and communicative is a strength in construction. Whether in the office or field, teamwork and safety depend on it. Work hard, ask questions, and speak up. Find mentors and peers who support you and keep learning. Your perspective matters, and the industry is stronger when you bring your whole self to the table.

What habit or routine helps you stay focused or motivated during a busy week? Disciplined time blocking allows me to protect my schedule and keep all of the plates in the air moving.

What is something outside of work that brings you energy, balance or creativity? I love doing arts and crafts with my children when I am not at work!
