Aspras is named president of Collado Engineering

White Plains, NY Collado Engineering has promoted Giorgios Aspras, P.E., to president of the firm. He assumes leadership from Andrew Hlushko who has led the firm since 2019 and will continue as chairman of the Board of Directors. 

Aspras joined Collado Engineering in 2007 in the electrical department and, over the past two decades, has steadily advanced through the organization based on his technical excellence, leadership, and commitment to quality, becoming an associate in 2016 and a principal in 2018. 

“George has been an integral part of the Collado team for the past 20 years” said Hlushko. “He embodies the firm value and culture, and, with the support of his partners, I am confident he will guide the firm to new heights.”

With 20 years of experience designing electrical systems, Aspras’ expertise in power distribution, generation, and transformation with project experience spanning many market sectors, including educational, commercial, healthcare, cultural facilities, and more. As a strong advocate for Total Quality Management (TQM), Aspras has played a key role in developing many of the firm’s internal processes, standards, and design tools – helping ensure consistent excellence and innovation across all projects.

As president, Aspras will continue leading key projects and engaging with clients, while focusing on strategic growth, operational excellence, and maintaining Collado Engineering’s mission: to do work of expert quality that creates value for our clients and benefits the broader society.
