AI Platform SceniX takes full floor at GFP’s 80 Eighth Ave. in Chelsea

Manhattan, NY GFP Real Estate said that Scenix Inc. (SceniX), a hybrid simulation platform that speeds up and strengthens robotics development and deployment, has signed a new five-year lease for 5,914 s/f of office space — the entire 17th floor — at 80 Eighth Ave. in Chelsea.

Matthew Mandell of GFP Real Estate represented the landlord, GFP Real Estate. Dennis Someck and Justin Myers of Lee & Associates NYC represented the tenant, SceniX. The company will use the space for its general and administrative offices when it moves into the space early next year.

Built in 1929 and standing 282 ft. tall, 80 Eighth Ave. is most well known as the Banker’s Trust Company Building which has occupied the property for more than 70 years.
