Manhattan, NY The Greater New York Chapter of the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM NYC) has named Arjun Sharma, ACoM, ARM, as its 2025 Accredited Commercial Manager of the Year, recognizing his leadership, operational expertise, and commitment to excellence in commercial property management.

Sharma currently serves as a commercial property manager at Lincoln Property Company, where he oversees all operations for a 300,000 s/f mixed-use asset. In this role, he acts as the primary liaison between ownership, municipal agencies, and the general public, managing the complex intersection of public-sector coordination and private asset performance. His responsibilities include safeguarding the financial health of the property through the administration of operating and capital budgets, vendor procurement, and ensuring full compliance with municipal, state, and federal regulations.

A hands-on leader, Sharma supervises multidisciplinary teams and continuously implements process improvements designed to elevate service quality and maximize asset performance. His approach reflects a strong balance of operational rigor, fiscal accountability, and stakeholder engagement — hallmarks of effective commercial property management in New York City’s demanding real estate environment.

With more than 15 years of industry experience, Sharma’s career reflects a comprehensive progression from leasing agent to vice president.

This ground-up perspective spans residential, community, and commercial property management, equipping him with a well-rounded understanding of diverse asset types and operational models. Throughout his career, he has managed national portfolios and led teams across multiple markets, bringing a strategic viewpoint to every assignment.

“Arjun exemplifies the core tenets of IREM — education, excellence, and ethics — in everything he does,” said Jessica Tusing, CPM, chapter president of IREM NYC. “His commitment to professional development, his high standards of operational performance, and his integrity as a leader set him apart. He represents the very best of our profession and is a model for property managers at every stage of their careers.”

Sharma holds both the Accredited Commercial Manager (ACoM) and Accredited Residential Manager (ARM) designations from the Institute of Real Estate Management, underscoring his dedication to continuing education and industry best practices.
