Savills promotes Spivack to executive vice president, general counsel, North America
Manhattan, NY Savills has promoted Julia Spivack to executive vice president and general counsel, North America. The global real estate advisory firm has more than 40 offices and over 1,000 employees across Canada and the United States, with its North American headquarters located in New York City.

In her expanded role, Spivack will oversee and manage all legal services provided to the company, including the operations of the legal department and its engagement with outside counsel. She will advise the firm’s senior executives on legal and strategic matters affecting the organization, while ensuring compliance with all applicable laws, rules and regulations. Her responsibilities include overseeing litigation, managing risk, reviewing and negotiating key contracts, advising on mergers and acquisitions, and guiding corporate governance and regulatory matters across the firm’s North American business.

With more than two decades of legal experience, Spivack joined Savills in 2022 and has been a cornerstone of the firm’s legal function ever since. Before Savills, she served for more than 15 years in the litigation group at Seward & Kissel LLP, where she advised clients on employment, compliance, and commercial matters. She began her career at Schulte, Roth & Zabel LLP.
