Koeppel Rosen signs new 3,439 s/f lease for Unity Building Security at 20 West 36th Street
Manhattan, NY According to Koeppel Rosen LLC, Unity Building Security, Inc. has signed a 3,439 s/f office lease for a portion of the seventh floor at 20 West 36th St.
The family-owned NYC-based firm specializes in building protection and life-safety services.
“We welcome Unity Building Security to 20 West 36th St. The company was looking for a central Manhattan location where it could expand its footprint to better serve a growing portfolio of clients,” said Max Koeppel, director of leasing at Koeppel Rosen, who represented ownership in the deal. Bradley Cohn of Adams & Company Real Estate negotiated on behalf of Unity Building Security.
Current tenants at 20 West 36th Street include Rheem, Bell & Freeman LLP, Publicolor, Inc., PIMS New York, Inc., and Martin Brudnizki Design Studio LLC. Availability at the building includes the entire fifth floor, which totals 7,272 s/f.
The 87,246 s/f, 12-story office building between Fifth and Sixth avenues in Manhattan’s Midtown South neighborhood was constructed in 1911 by architect Samuel Sass. The building’s amenities include 24/7 building access and an attended lobby. The location is a few blocks from the 34th St.-Herald Square and the 42nd St.-Bryant Park subway stations as well as Penn Station and the 33rd St. PATH station.
