Kuriyama celebrates 10 year anniversary at Hoffmann Architects

Hoffman Architects, an architectural and engineering firm specializing in the rehabilitation of building exteriors, announces the 10-year anniversary of a member of its technical personnel.
In the decade since senior architect Juan Kuriyama, AIA joined Hoffman Architects he has established himself as an authority on building envelope rehabilitation. In interviews and articles, in Spanish and English publications alike, Kuriyama has offered his expertise on window replacement, waterproofing maintenance planning and façade design considerations.
Beyond overseeing the diagnosis and resolution of building systems distress, he is also responsible for developing and maintaining client relationships and for mentoring junior staff members. With a project history that includes Butler Library at Columbia University, 20 Verizon buildings, Pfizer's New York City headquarters, multiple New York City public schools and the Kings County Hospital Center, Kuriyama has demonstrated his expertise in the nuances of remedial architecture.
