The six-city national firm JCJ Architecture has hired veteran marketer Kirsten Sibilia as its very first chief marketing officer.
Based in New York, Sibilia works with each of the company's offices across the United States on strategic marketing and communications efforts. She is also a key member of the JCJ management committee.
"We are fortunate that such an experienced, knowledgeable and creative woman as Kirsten is joining us as our firm's very first chief marketing officer," said Peter Stevens, president of JCJ. "JCJ is undertaking a major reorganization and rebranding, and Kirsten is an extremely important part of that effort."
Sibilia has over 18 years of experience in marketing, sales, public relations, communications, and product design. Most recently, she spent ten years with FXFOWLE Architects, overseeing marketing, business development, public relations, and graphics for the firm's two offices. Her efforts there contributed to the firm's steady growth and diversification, as well as its successful penetration into new markets.
Sibilia serves as the director of publications for the New York chapter of the American Institute of Architects (AIA), overseeing its principal publications (Oculus, and e-Oculus).
