BGO names Ellis-Beckham as managing director on U.S. Capital Raising team
Manhattan, NY BGO has appointed Dyice Ellis-Beckham as a managing director on the firm’s U.S. Capital Raising team. Based in New York, Ellis-Beckham will be responsible for cultivating new relationships with limited partners and consultants in the U.S. Midwest and Eastern regions.
“With deep commercial real estate experience and a proven track record of success engaging investors, Dyice will be instrumental in driving BGO’s growth in the United States,” said Brian Burke, managing director, head of North American Capital Raising at BGO.
“I am excited to join BGO’s capital raising team and build on the momentum this accomplished group has already generated in the region,” said Ellis-Beckham.
She brings to BGO 30 years of asset management experience. Prior to joining the firm, she served as managing director at H.I.G. Capital on the capital formation group’s partners advisory team.
In this role, she was focused on capital raising activities with North American institutional clients across the firm’s global real asset strategies including real estate and infrastructure.
Other previous positions include managing director on Invesco’s Institutional Sales team, senior vice president of Institutional Sales & Client Services at Satellite Asset Management (multi-strategy hedge fund), and Lehman Brothers Asset Management, where she received the Chairman’s Award for Extraordinary Client Service. She began her career as vice president at Deutsche Asset Management and as a pension fund manager at General Motors Asset Management.
Ellis-Beckham received an MBA from Harvard Business School and graduated from the GMI Engineering & Management Institute (now Kettering University). She currently serves on the board of directors of the National Association of Securities Professionals New York Chapter (NASP-NY) and is board chair of the NASP-NY Foundation, which exposes high school students to Wall Street careers and assists with college preparation. Additionally, she is a member of the Women’s Steering Committee of the Alternative Investment Forum (AIF).
