Global Holdings signs Utopia Bagels and Essex Squeeze at 875 Third Ave.; expands food court
Manhattan, NY Global Holdings, led by chairman and founder Eyal Ofer, closed two new retail leases at the base of its premium class A office tower, 875 Third Ave.
Utopia Bagels signed a 15-year lease for 3,512 s/f across the ground floor and lower concourse. Juice bar Essex Squeeze also signed a lease for 1,326 s/f under a 10-year agreement. The deals continue to enhance the office tower’s handpicked lineup of quality food and beverage offerings at the base and lower concourse of the building, anchored by a mix of popular food and beverage options including Atto Sushi, Café Hatou, Chopt, Starbucks and Dunkin Donuts.

A New York staple since 1981, Utopia Bagels is known citywide for its classic, hand-rolled bagels, traditional deli-style sandwiches, and commitment to preserving the craft of old-school bagel-making. At 875 Third Ave., its fourth New York City location, Utopia Bagels will operate a full-service location offering breakfast and lunch options for tenants and the broader Midtown East community. The lease includes 2,555 s/f on the ground floor and 957 s/f on the lower concourse.
Essex Squeeze, a fast-growing juice and smoothie bar founded on New York’s Lower East Side known for its branding and menu of juices, smoothies, açaí bowls, and health-conscious snacks, has signed a lease for 1,326 s/f on the lower concourse. This will be its sixth location in NYC in addition to an outpost in Philadelphia.
Located on the corner of 53rd St. and Third Ave., 875 Third Ave. is a 29-story, class A office tower. Designed by Emery Roth & Sons, the building has an upgraded lobby atrium and amenity offerings. Tenants benefit from access to public transit and a location within Midtown East. T
