The revitalized structure honors the site’s industrial legacy while delivering a dynamic, modern workplace. Flexible meeting and conference spaces, integrated green areas, and hospitality-driven common spaces infuse the environment with energy and adaptability, making it a true model for forward-thinking design.
? Deal of the Year
Avison Young, 43-49 Bleecker St.
Presented by the team of Alexandra Marolda, Brandon Polakoff, Ryan McGuir, and Kyle Sabath, the group led a standout transaction that exemplified creativity, collaboration, and executional excellence. By carefully interpreting the new zoning code, challenging the opinions of several prominent land use attorneys, and securing a favorable determination from City Planning, Avison Young’s team demonstrated that an Affordable Housing Fund (AHF) payment was not required to convert 43-49 Bleecker Street to residential use. This pivotal finding preserved the sale of a property that was otherwise at risk of foreclosure.
Throughout the event, discussions were led by the project teams themselves, offering rich insights into corporate strategy, sustainability, portfolio planning, finance, and talent development. Each presenter shared firsthand perspectives on how their projects not only met complex client needs but also supported broader organizational objectives such as employee attraction, wellness, and innovation.
The event fostered a spirit of transparency and professional growth, encouraging attendees to engage directly with some of the most respected leaders and innovators in CRE today. Participants left with a deeper understanding of what it takes to develop impactful, future-forward work environments.
By celebrating these successes and facilitating open dialogue, CoreNet NYC continues to drive advancement, collaboration, and excellence across the commercial real estate industry. Events like “Who Wins REmmy’s Awards & Why?” exemplify the chapter’s commitment to elevating the profession and cultivating a vibrant, knowledgeable CRE community.
