Syska Hennessy opens office in Saudi Arabia

June 24, 2025 - Owners Developers & Managers

Riyadh, Saudi Arabia Syska Hennessy Group has opened an office in Riyadh, to accommodate growth in the region, especially in the realm of data centers.

The office is located at Olaya Business Center at Al Olaya St.

In Saudi Arabia, the firm will be known as Syska Hennessy Group Limited, said Kostas Tsekouras, managing director of Syska’s Middle East and North Africa (MENA) operations. He adds that the Riyadh office will supplement the activities of the firm’s Dubai office, which was established in 2012.

“Our work in the MENA region has increased substantially in recent years,” Tsekouras said. “By expanding our on-the-ground presence, we can collaborate more easily with our clients, who want to apply the latest engineering advances to hyperscale data centers, office buildings, mixed-use developments, and aviation.”

Syska’s clients in Saudi Arabia include Saudi Aramco, Saudi Public Investment Fund, Saudi Telecommunication Company, and many more.

“We have a long track record in Saudi Arabia,” said Cyrus Izzo, Syska’s president and CEO. “In 1975 we were part of a team that designed King Saud University in Riyadh, which contains nearly 12 million square feet across three square miles. With the opening of our Riyadh office we can continue to build on this legacy.”
