Kozel speaks at CoreNet L.I. breakfast meeting
December 15, 2008 - Long Island
There was a mix of good cheer and cause for concern at the monthly meeting of the Long Island Chapter of the CoreNet Global Corporate Real Estate Network, held Oct. 16 at the Milleridge Inn.
Those attending the breakfast heard Peter Kozel, executive managing director of research and real estate strategies at Newmark Knight Frank, outline how the current economic slowdown may ripple through Long Island's real estate market.
On the plus side, for the first time two charities - Make-A-Wish Foundation and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Long Island - each received a $20,000 check thanks to the CoreNet Global L.I. Chapter's 12th annual charity golf and tennis outing, held July 21 at Engineers Country Club in Roslyn Harbor and North Shore Country Club in Glen Head. Representatives from both charities were on hand to receive the gifts.
