Chief Financial Officer
Time Equities, Inc.
Recent goal and impact: Time Equities sponsors over 400 properties and 600 entities, managing 11 funds with thousands of investors. Each year, many sponsors delay K-1s, forcing investors to extend returns. We achieve 95% K-1 issuance by April 15th, along with financial statements and footnotes for each entity. This transparency ensures investors fully understand their financial position and the health of their investments.
Sharing knowledge and expertise: I believe a strong work ethic inspires others. I regularly hold Lunch and Learn sessions to discuss successes, challenges, and strategies for improvement. I guide my team to make well-researched decisions, helping them analyze details and explore solutions. While I don’t micromanage, I provide the tools, insights, and support they need to build confidence and think critically.
Who was/is your role model and/or leadership mentor? My father and Francis Greenburger, CEO of TEI.
“I had the privilege of working closely with Landon while he was the Director of Financial Reporting and Assistant Controller at Innovate (f/k/a HC2 Holdings Inc.), and his contributions were nothing short of exceptional. Landon’s focus on internal controls, deep understanding of accounting guidance, financial acumen, and strategic insight were invaluable to our organization. His ability to research and understand complex financial transactions, combined with his capacity to work under the constant pressures of public company reporting requirements, made a significant impact on Innovate’s success. Additionally, Landon’s collaborative nature and ability to mentor those around him created a positive and productive environment within the team. He consistently demonstrated an unwavering commitment to excellence, and his innovative solutions to challenges were key in driving the company forward. His promotion to TEI’s CFO is a well-deserved recognition of his dedication and expertise. I have full confidence in his leadership to steer the company toward even greater success and beyond.” - Roman Gorbal, Chief Financial Officer, HC2 Broadcasting.
