What is one project or achievement in your career that you are most proud of, and how did it impact your organization or community? 

I am proud to dedicate my time to the construction community as chair of the diversity & inclusion committee for the ABA Forum on Construction Law, in which I previously served as a former member of the governing committee. The forum’s mission is to serve the construction industry through education and leadership while building the best construction lawyers. At Zetlin & De Chiara LLP, I am proud to lead the firm’s DEI efforts, and focus on associate mentorship. I find it incredibly rewarding to be able to help with the professional development of rising female construction lawyers.

What trends or innovations do you believe will shape the future of your field, and how are you positioning yourself (or your firm) to be at the forefront? 

I am inspired daily by the commitment, integrity and overall excellence of my partners at Zetlin & De Chiara LLP. My advice to the next generation of women entering the A/E/C industry is to choose a firm that encourages hands-on learning. I am grateful for early responsibility in complex construction cases, which shaped my ability to serve my A/E/C clients. I encourage women to give back to rising females in the industry. I devote my time to the professional development of women in real estate and construction, as a current board member of CREW NY.

What’s your favorite way to recharge or get inspired outside of work?

I am an avid traveler and am inspired by new cultures. I also enjoy recharging in Upstate New York.
