What noteworthy transactions or deals from this year best exemplified key market trends or shifts?

Our architectural glass and metal firm has seen a significant increase in the multi-family and retail work in the past 18 months. In particular, we have fabricated and installed a high number of interior partitions, shower enclosures, glazed stair and balcony railings and storefronts at both new ground-up and commercial-to-multifamily redevelopment residential projects. The increasing number of planned office-to-multifamily conversions indicates that this market segment will remain strong for the foreseeable future. The Greenpoint Landing in Brooklyn was one of Prime Glass’ recent residential projects.

What was your greatest professional accomplishment or most notable project, deal, or transaction in 2024?

Prime Glass’ recent and ongoing work includes a number of prominent retail, residential and commercial projects in Manhattan. These include the Arc’teryx flagship store at 580 Bdwy.; the 291-unit 34 Desbrosses St. condominium, for which we fabricated and installed an expansive glazed storefront, vestibule and two sets of entry balanced doors; and the Terminal Warehouse commercial redevelopment in West Chelsea, where our team is currently installing glazed partitions for retail and office tenants.
