What was your greatest professional accomplishment or most notable project, deal, or transaction in 2024? 

A new hotel development that was conceived pre and during covid and then shelved as rates and costs rose is coming back on line in a possible larger version. This is notable as it was the first signal that the shock from rates and inflation is abating. 

What emerging trends will drive investment and development in 2025?

More stable interest rates and construction costs will allow decision makers to make decisions on proceeding with projects. We are seeing long-shelved projects come back online and new development projects in the pipeline again. Changes is the administration and policies also may positively affect development. The trend toward mandating inspections of existing structures (parking, façade, parapet, etc.) will continue and grow.
