The Education Committee is planning the course schedule for 2025. The required courses for licensing will be offered as well as pertinent commercial topics. As a member benefit, courses offered via Zoom will be offered free of charge for all NYSCAR members! It is imperative that you take the required courses (listed below) as part of the 22.5 hours. If you are audited by NYS Department of State and don’t have the correct courses, your license is not valid and you are placing yourself at risk for a significant fine.
As a reminder, the requirements for NYS licensing renewal are below:

Constitution Change: Commercial Representation
During the NAR Conference which was held in Boston Massachusetts in November, the Board of Directors voted in favor of an amendment to Article V, Sec. 1 of the NAR Constitution that would require that commercial practitioners make up a minimum of 10% of the NAR Executive Committee. The rationale for the change is that it serves the commercial pillar of NAR’s strategic plan and ensures inclusivity for an important segment of the membership. Constitutional changes must be noticed to and approved by the Delegate Body, so the Delegate Body will consider this change at its 2025 meeting at NAR NXT in Houston.
