Kevin Paul oversees H2M’s private sector real estate discipline, which includes private sector architecture and structural engineering real estate teams in Melville and a private sector architecture team in NYC. He manages and facilitates all phases of architectural and design projects from initial studies through construction administration, with a focus on commercial, industrial, institutional, retail, and residential projects in the private sector. His responsibilities include managing employee workflow, hiring staff, and overseeing the discipline’s financial performance.

Innovative Outlook: 

The transition from a pre-pandemic to post-pandemic environment has presented a number of great opportunities to redefine how my team and I approach commercial real estate. One big question that has emerged in the wake of the pandemic is what to do with unused office buildings and warehouses. Finding clever ways to adapt and reuse these structures is going to be integral to the future of this industry. Additionally, I have been placing a greater emphasis on appealing to a wide variety of generational needs, which can be especially challenging for spaces with multi-generational populations. More and more, we will have to adopt an inclusive, universal approach to commercial real estate that can accommodate the needs of younger and older users alike.
