What is the best advice you have given to a client?
Understand that change in the work environment takes a senior level champion and a clear "change management" process. If you or your company wants to move lots of people from offices to workstations or reduce the footprint of offices and workstations, you need a process to meet the natural resistance. First establish goals and obtain visible support from senior management. Begin early in the process to let people know the benefits of a new environment - increased collaboration, stronger branding, more variety in meeting spaces and new amenities - along with increased efficiency. Details can be shared over time, but be open, involve people and avoid surprises.
