Eight Forchelli Deegan Terrana LLP attorneys receive Nassau County Bar Association Committee appointments

Uniondale, NY Forchelli Deegan Terrana LLP congratulates the following attorneys on their Nassau County Bar Association (NCBA) Committee appointments, which were effective June 1, 2024:
- Michael Berger, an associate in the firm’s Employment & Labor and Veterinary practice groups, was appointed co-chair of the new lawyers committee. Berger earned his J.D. from the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University and his B.A. from the University of Pittsburgh.
- Lisa Casa, a partner in the firm’s Employment & Labor practice group, was appointed vice chair of the labor and employment law committee. Casa earned her J.D. from Brooklyn Law School and her B.S. and B.A. from The George Washington University.
- Johanna David, a partner in the firm’s Tax, Trusts, & Estates practice group, was appointed vice chair of the elder law, social services & health advocacy committee. She will serve a two-year term. David earned her J.D. from the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University and her B.A. from the College of Mount Saint Vincent.
- Danielle Gatto, a partner in the firm’s Litigation practice group, was appointed co-chair of the commercial litigation committee. Gatto earned her J.D. from the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University and her B.A. from Tulane University.
- Cheryl Katz, a partner in the firm’s Tax, Trusts, & Estates practice group, was appointed vice chair of the surrogate’s court estates and trusts committee. Katz earned her J.D. from the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University and her B.A. from Stony Brook University.
- Gregory Lisi, a partner and Chair of the firm’s Employment & Labor practice group, was appointed chair of the lawyer referral committee. Lisi earned his J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center and his B.A. from the State University of New York at Buffalo.
- Gerard Luckman, a partner and Chair of the firm’s Bankruptcy & Corporate Restructuring practice group, was appointed chair of the bankruptcy law committee. Luckman earned his J.D. from St. John’s University School of Law and his B.S. from New York Institute of Technology.
- Robert Renda, a partner in the firm’s Tax Certiorari practice group, was appointed chair of the condemnation law and tax certiorari committee. He will serve a two-year term. Renda earned his J.D. from St. John’s University School of Law and his B.S. from St. John’s University.
