Brooklyn, NY J3K Real Estate has arranged two retail leases in the Boerum Hill neighborhood, marking a continued surge in local leasing activity.
The first transaction was signed by Forte Construction Corp., which has secured a 4,000 s/f lease on the ground floor at 83 Third Ave., located between Bergen and Dean Sts. Elliot Zelinger and Scott Fink of Savitt Partners represented Forte Construction, while J3K represented the landlord, Abingdon Square Partners. The asking rent was set at $62 per s/f. This lease finalizes the occupancy of 83 Third Ave., which is now fully leased following J3K’s arrangement of both office leases for the upper floors and now this ground floor space.
At 330 Atlantic Ave., VaughnCo, a media company, has leased a total of 3,000 s/f, including 1,300 s/f on the ground floor and 1,700 s/f in a selling lower level featuring beautiful skylights. The space will accommodate VaughnCo’s retail and office operations. Jon, Jeremy, and Justin Kamali of J3K Real Estate represented the tenant and the landlord, Phil Mendlow. The asking price for this space was $75 per s/f.
