Manhattan, NY The Interior Arts Building is launching the IAB Arcade, which will feature ten top-tier dealers and vendors with individual booths collectively managed by showroom manager Caren Rankin.
The concept is new to the Interior Arts Building, which reformatted the ground floor space, previously occupied by John Rosselli Antiques. The IAB Arcade officially launched with the debut of celebrated interior designer Darren Henault’s Tent New York, slated for a grand opening at the IAB at the end of April. Henault is expanding from Amenia to enjoy closer proximity to his New York City clientele.
The Interior Arts Building is located at 306 East 61st St. It houses galleries, antique and furniture dealers, and design businesses, including Balsamo Antiques, BK Antiques, Bunny Williams Home, Doris Leslie Blau, Eric Appel, JAMES, Liz O’Brien, Lucca Antiques, Newel, Objets Plus, Inc. / Daniel Barney, Olasky & Sinsteden, Robyn Ward, and Williams Lawrence.
Matt Cassin, managing principal of Acram Group, which owns the IAB, says, “We are thrilled to welcome Darren Henault to the IAB as a pioneer tenant in the newly imagined Arcade. He brings tremendous energy and creativity to the concept of a collective space that celebrates the talents of multiple individual vendors and dealers, creating an innovative community on our ground floor. The Arcade is a strong complement to our new tenants: multi-line showroom JAMES, antiques dealer Lucca Antiques, and acclaimed artist Robyn Ward, who have all recently brought a spectrum of additional offerings to the IAB.”
Darren Henault says, “A Manhattanite at heart, I look forward to expanding Tent’s footprint to New York City, offering my vision for the home to the high-caliber of discerning interior designers who shop the IAB. Since its founding in 2020, Tent has been met with great success, with an extensive inventory of furniture, décor, and more by leading designers, artists, and craftspeople. The Arcade brings great opportunities and spirit to the ground floor space.”
