New York, NY This past week, IREM NYC vice president of education Ralph Amicucci, CPM, Esq. testified before the House Committee on Financial Services, Subcommittee on housing and insurance. Amicucci spoke about the hard-working Americans who are unable to rent or buy homes due to increased housing costs. His testimony puts a spotlight on the barriers to development and burdensome laws making it challenging to build housing at almost any price point — particularly a price affordable to low- and middle-class families.
