Smithtown, NY Thomas Kelly and Chris Wade have joined Douglas Elliman Commercial.
Wade and Kelly are licensed real esate salespersons and commercial specialists.
The notoriety and network Wade has amassed through his competitive and entrepreneurial careers has made him an effective agent in the Long Island commercial realty landscape.
As part of the Douglas Elliman Commercial division, Wade has broadened his scope of knowledge to encompass all asset classes of commercial realty including land & development, retail, office, medical, industrial and investment properties.
As a business owner himself, Kelly relates to the commercial client and the complexities of commercial negotiations.
Wade, an Islip High School alumnus, was an all-star wrestler, winning both Suffolk County and New York state championship titles. Wade continued his wrestling career competing in division one college wrestling at Binghamton University. He later went on to earn All-American status with NCC college as a national finalist and All-American with Division 3 SUNY Oneonta.
Immediately after college Wade pursued the sport of professional mixed martial arts. He went on to fight for four years in the UFC at 155 lbs. After moving over to the PFL Wade fought for a world championship title in 2021.
Wade is also a known local entrepreneur, he is co-owner and operator of Long Island MMA in Islip. He is also co-owner of apparel company Long Island Strong with storefront locations in Sayville and Babylon.
Born and raised in Rocky Point, Kelly attended Rocky Point High School, and later attended the University of Virginia where he was an NCAA Division 1 national champion lacrosse player.
Kelly had the privilege of playing lacrosse at the highest level in both the Major League Lacrosse (MLL) and Premier Lacrosse League (PLL) from 2016 to 2023. Notably, winning the professional championship in 2016 in the MLL, showcasing his ability to perform under pressure and excel in competitive environments. This experience has instilled a commitment to excellence and discipline that is carried over to Kelly’s real estate career.
Beyond the lacrosse field, Kelly is the proud owner of Long Island Faceoff Co., a testament to his entrepreneurial spirit.
