Marx Realty signs Baccarat to 10,000 s/f lease at 545 Madison
Manhattan, NY According to Marx Realty, Baccarat will relocate its corporate offices to a 10,000 s/f penthouse and mezzanine space – including a private terrace – on the 18th floor at 545 Madison Ave. in the city’s Plaza District.
As part of the move and planned co-branding of the building, Baccarat and Marx will refine and elevate the design aesthetic at 545 Madison to include pieces from the Baccarat crystalworks collection. Plans include the installation of the Baccarat logo near the building’s entry marquee. The hospitality-infused lobby and the building’s exclusive Leonard Lounge will also feature Baccarat’s crystal barware, chandeliers and luxury goods.

The space on the penthouse floor, which becomes available for occupancy in early 2024, will feature wood floors, seating areas and a café as well as sliding glass walls and a private terrace for a complete indoor/outdoor experience. Additionally, a light-filled staircase will connect the two-story space.
Current tenants include financial software and applications developer Strike Technologies (the first to sign at 545 Madison soon after Marx and presented its plans for the building); private equity firms Snow Phipps, Kohlberg, Vialto Partners and Orangewood Capital as well as additional wealth management and private equity firms.
A Cushman & Wakefield team of Tara Stacom, Harry Blair, Peter Trivelas, Remy Liebersohn, Connor Daugstrup and Bianca Di Mauro represented Marx Realty in the transaction. Lantern Company’s Matt Siegel and Jessica Adler represented Baccarat. David Burns and Kristin Kaiser of Studios Architecture worked with Marx Realty’s in-house design team to reimagine the lobby and amenity spaces at 545 Madison.
