Pearl River, NY According to Hudson Valley iCampus, Momentive Performance Materials, Inc.(MPM), celebrated the opening of its 66,430 s/f innovation center located in Building 180 at the campus. The space consists of 38 co-located labs and office space designed to support the enhancement of product performance across a range of industry applications including: the agricultural, paint & coatings, and beauty and personal care markets.
A ribbon cutting ceremony was held at the building on December 13, 2023. The event was attended by Jamie Schwartz, president of Hudson Valley iCampus; VP Nalian, president of MPM; Teresa Kenny, Orangetown supervisor; Lucy Redzeposki, director of Rockland County Economic Development and Tourism; Steven Porath, director of Rockland Economic Development Corp.; Al Samuels, president/CEO Rockland County Business Association (RBA), as well as Hudson Valley iCampus and MPM personnel, contractors and consultants that were involved with the project.
Schwartz said, “The opening of MPM’s new state-of-the-art laboratory and office space at Hudson Valley iCampus, in a building that had been vacant for more than 10 years, is a testament to the collaboration and hard work of everyone involved in readying the building and space for MPM’s occupancy. It also validates our vision and continued execution in repositioning the property as a hub for the Life Sciences industry.”
MPM joins Hudson Valley iCampus’ tenant roster that now has 28 tenants including Pfizer, Inc., Sanofi US Services, Inc., Strides Pharma, Inc., Auro Vaccines LLC, and Olaplex Inc.
