Manhattan, NY Construction Management and Builders, Inc. (CM&B) has been building in New York City and the surrounding boroughs since 2011. Their journey in the city began with the 56,000 s/f LEED Platinum store for Whole Foods Market at 3rd & 3rd in Brooklyn. In the autumn of 2017, CM&B established a permanent presence on 7th Ave. and has since completed hundreds of projects spanning the retail, hospitality, and grocery sectors across the New York tri-state region.
With their growing list of clients and team members, they were ready for the next chapter in New York City. With many neighborhoods to choose from, each with its distinct charm, they set their sights on a location that would not only accommodate their team but also provide a unique office amenity. With Bryant Park in their backyard, the team is ready to take on 2024 with a new home in an iconic location.
“As we continue on our exciting journey in New York, we are not just beginning a new chapter; we are setting the course for the future of CM&B in New York,” said Tim Puopolo, EVP/COO of CM&B. “This strategic move positions us for unparalleled growth and success, symbolizing our commitment to innovation and excellence in New York City.”
Andrew McCaughan, chief development officer at Shake Shack, said, “For over eight years, CM&B has been a consistent and reliable construction partner, executing over 45 Shake Shack locations throughout the Northeast. From complex urban locations to ground-up suburban restaurants and our corporate headquarters and test kitchen, we count on the CM&B team to build some of our most challenging assignments.
