The Industrial and Office Real Estate Brokers Association of the New York Metropolitan Area, Inc., (IOREBA), has completed the installation of its 2007-2008 officers.
With roots dating back to 1927, IOREBA, is one of the nation's largest regional commercial real estate trade groups; its more than 325 members conduct business in New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania and Connecticuit.
Hall Messer, an associate vice president with NAI James Hansen has been named as IOREBA's president and will oversee aspects of the organization's daily functions.
David Violette, vice president of Colliers Houston & Co., has been named as vice president, while Charles Logan, president and CEO of The Aztec Corp., will serve as secretary and Sean Brady, senior director of Cushman & Wakefield will serve as treasurer for the coming year.
IOREBA's officers also include a 15 member executive committee and a senior council comprised of more than 30 industry leaders.
"The mission of IOREBA officers is to encourage high ethical standards and unite our members," said John Ritter, immediate past president and executive vice president of Shalom & Zuckerbrot Realty, LLC.
