CrowdVest Funding signed a long-term lease for 4,100 s/f of office space. CrowdVest is a new venture formed by a previous tenant at 490 Wheeler Rd. One of the principals of CrowdVest has been a tenant at 490 Wheeler Rd. for over 10 years.
Peter Romero, Esq., who has been an existing tenant for several years entered a new long-term lease for larger space in the building. Romero has almost doubled the size of his space to 2,800 s/f. The landlord provided a new full-suite buildout for the tenant.
490 Wheeler Rd. is a 50,000 s/f two-story office building with access to the LIE.
In Middle Island, Island Associates negotiated a new 7,500 s/f lease with NYU Grossman for the end cap space at Strathmore Commons Shopping Mall, 1200 Middle Country Rd.
NYU Grossman is in the construction phase of building-out new medical offices in the 7,500 s/f space. NYU joins other tenants at the 140,000 s/f center such as King Kullen, Golds Gym, DaVita, Dollar Tree, All Island Pets, etc.
Island Associates represented the landlord while Avison Young represented the tenant.
