What recent project, transaction, or accomplishment are you most proud of? Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) have been a highlight of my work. These development projects utilize public/private partnerships to develop the energy infrastructure needed to make renewable energy a success. In my role as senior environmental planner, I have directed the environmental review for several BESS projects, evaluating the potential environmental roadblocks impacting a site’s viability for BESS and providing comprehensive SEQRA support for site plan applications, including the preparation of complex expanded environmental assessments.
Who inspires you most? What qualities do they possess that inspire you? Michele Pincus, Esq. - deputy director for the real estate market at H2M. Michele is ambitious and humble. Despite continuous success, she is always seeking new heights and directions. While she has long been a leader in the industry, she is open to being both mentor and student.
