Manhattan, NY According to Richard Kessler, chief operating officer, Benenson Capital Partners has appointed Suzanne Boehm as chief financial officer of the firm.
Boehm has been chief accounting officer at Benenson for nine years, and is replacing long-time former CFO David Thomas, who is retiring. As chief financial officer, she will be responsible for all banking relationships, accounting, tax, and reporting functions for the company as well as providing financial insights for Benenson’s transactional activities.
“Suzanne has been a tremendous asset to Benenson Capital Partners for many years and we are confident she will excel in this new position,” said Kessler.
“We are pleased to be able to hire from within the company for this key position and want to wish David the very best in retirement.”
Prior to joining Benenson Capital Partners, Boehm was with Emmes Asset Management Company LLC for more than 13 years, rising to the position of senior chief accounting officer/chief compliance officer heading the accounting, reporting and compliance functions. Prior to that, Boehm was with Kimco Realty Corp., a publicly traded REIT, for more than 10 years.

Boehm holds a BS in Accounting and an MBA in Taxation from St. John’s University.
