REBNY adds new video feature to member website
November 3, 2008 - Brokerage
REBNY's residential and commercial brokers won't have to miss any of the action as this fall's seminar and event schedule is fully underway. Now, member brokers can view videos of REBNY's seminars by logging onto the member side of the REBNY website.
The new feature enables brokers who may have missed an event, to watch videos of commercial and residential seminars and panel discussions in their entirety on the web site. This is only available on the member website and can be found by clicking "Video," on the "Enter Website" drop-down menu.
"The new feature offered to members will help our member brokers take advantage of the helpful tips and information offered at these events, while also keeping up with their busy schedules," said Steven Spinola, REBNY president. "We know that our brokers can't make it to every event but at the same time we want them to reap the benefits of membership. Now, if a broker misses an event, he or she doesn't have to miss out on a learning opportunity."
Full-length videos currently posted on the site include the commercial retail awards and the residential Inside Secrets of Top Brokers seminar "Major Brokers on the Cutting Edge," held on September 18th. The event covered a variety of topics including lead-generation systems and marketing.
Also available on the video page is the recent residential Breakfast Club series "Prospecting in a Changing Market" featuring Vickey Barron of Prudential Douglas Elliman. The Breakfast Club meets on the second Tuesday morning of each month and offer helpful tips and information to brokers.
"There should be no less than 15 offerings when the program year concludes in June 2009," said Corinne Pulitzer, chair of REBNY's membership committee.
Residential brokers can also find the video from the Inside Secrets of Top Brokers seminar "Six Figures doing Rentals," from May 2008.
Events will be archived on the video web site.
