GFP Real Estate signs seven new leases at 230 Fifth Ave. totaling 16,201 s/f

Manhattan, NY GFP Real Estate, LLC announced seven new long-term lease transactions totaling 16,201 s/f at the Flatiron District’s 230 Fifth Ave. The specialty showroom building is the New York hub of the Home Textiles Industry, home to over 140 luxury home fashion accessories companies.

GFP Real Estate principal Jane Gural-Senders and executive managing director Harvey Richer represented the landlord, GFP Real Estate, and the tenant in each of the direct lease transactions listed below.

  • Marvel Home Fashions, manufacturer and exporter of home and baby textiles made in India, signed a five-year lease for 1,999 s/f on the 10th floor. 
  • Arroya Studio LLC, a marketing and branding agency that offers wholesalers, manufactures and brand owners a modernized approach to the retail marketplace, signed a lease for 4,245 s/f on the 12th floor. 
  • LS Mills LTD, a textile manufacturer of high-quality fabrics, signed a new three-year lease for 967 s/f on the 19th floor.  The company, which previously leased 716 s/f on the 11th floor.  
  • Reevooy Corporation, an end-to-end visibility platform offering tech-powered, quality-guaranteed supply chains for fashion and home décor companies, signed a new two-year lease for 870 s/f on the 2nd floor. 
  • Maisonette Tekstil, one of Turkey’s leading home textile brands, signed a five-year lease for 3,989 s/f on the 13th floor. 
  • Arkwright LLC, which produces and sells an assortment of wholesale towels, bath rugs, accent rugs, sheets, throws and comforter sets, signed a six-year lease for 1,867 s/f on the 16th floor, more than doubling its space within the building.  
  • Libeco Ligae, manufacturer of luxurious bed, kitchen & table linens, signed a five-year lease renewal for 2,264 s/f on the 13th floor.  

Built in 1914 and designed by the architectural firm of Schwartz & Gross, 230 Fifth Ave. is a 20-story, 465,000 s/f Beaux Arts-style office building. Acquired by GFP Real Estate in 1958, the building is home to over 140 showrooms featuring a diverse collection of product lines and categories, including home textiles, decorative accessories, home furnishings, architectural products, art, and more.
