Mineola, NY Blue Communities hosted a groundbreaking of its six-story, 101,000 s/f boutique rental apartment building, The Royal Blue, located at 101 Searing Ave. Slated for completion in 2024, the 54-unit development will offer one- and two-bedroom apartments ranging in size from 875-1,435 s/f.

“We could not be more excited to bring more housing in Nassau, especially with a product like The Royal Blue,” said Doron Pergament, principal of Blue Communities. “Having grown up in nearby Herricks, this area holds a soft spot in my heart and I, along with the rest of the Blue team, are eager to bring this development to life and as we do so, will hold ourselves to the highest standard of luxury living.”

Local dignitaries including senator Jack Martins, mayor Paul Pereira, village board of trustees Paul Cusato, Janine Sartori, Jeffrey Clark, and Donna Solosky attended with speeches by Martins, Pereira, and Pergament.

“I am so glad to be here today to support this magnificent vision of Doron and his team at Blue Communities as well as Mineola’s mayor Paul Pereira who helped bring this project to life,” said senator Martins. “The Royal Blue will provide what this community needs and will help lay the groundwork of all future development in Mineola. Not only will this project change the neighborhood – and skyscape – for the good but will provide housing to all generations that want to stay here in the area and who have already been here for decades.”

Designed by BLD Architecture, Royal Blue’s homes will offer full high-end finishes with features of living in a condo-style building including the ability to control heating and cooling systems.  As well, the apartments are being designed so they include a home office area.

What’s more, residents will have parking on the ground level, and amenities including a:

• Rooftop with jacuzzi and pickleball court (the first on Long Island);

• Fitness center with sauna and steam room;

• Pet spa; and

• Large common space lounge and business center.

Located in the Village of Mineola Town of North Hempstead on the North Shore of Long Island, the property is a short distance from Long Island Railroad, shopping, restaurants, entertainment, recreational facilities and medical care.
