Collado Engineering announce Quintanilla as new Principal
Collado Engineering has announced the promotion of Miguel Quintanilla, PE, to Principal.
“Miguel’s promotion to Principal will allow him to have a greater influence on the firm beyond the management of the Plumbing and Fire Protection department. We are confident his leadership will contribute to the growth of the firm,” said Andrew Hlushko, Collado Engineering’s President.
Quintanilla has worked in the industry for 20 years after graduating from Stevens Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering. He is licensed in NY and four other states, a certified LEED AP, and an active member of the American Society of Plumbing Engineers and the National Fire Protection Association.
Among other projects, Quintanilla is a key asset in the renovation of the Troutbeck, a historic estate hotel in Amenia, NY including the adaptive reuse of existing buildings for a restaurant and resort amenities, as well as the creation of a new hotel building, several guest cabins, an event center, and an administrative building. Phased construction is anticipated to begin this year.
“I am honored to become a principal at Collado Engineering, and I appreciate the opportunity to be part of its leadership team,” said Quintanilla about his recent promotion. “Collado’s mission to provide value to clients through expert quality work, resonates with my core beliefs as a consultant.”
