Lilker Associates Consulting Engineers has joined IMEG, a national engineering firm on May 1, 2023. The announcement follows another recent IMEG merger with Long Island-based Cameron Engineering and expands the firm’s footprint in the State of New York to more than 220 team members with full-service capabilities.
Founded in 1985, Lilker offers mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection engineering design, as well as technology, lighting, special inspections, and energy and sustainability consulting services. The firm serves clients from its offices in Manhattan, Long Island, and the DC Metro area, providing innovative solutions to clients in the aviation, commercial, cultural, education, healthcare, hospitality, residential, and workplace markets.
Lilker founder Bruce Lilker said his firm is excited to join IMEG and help drive continued growth in New York and surrounding regions. “We built our reputation on our entrepreneurial spirit, cutting-edge technology, and engineering excellence as we serve our clients as a trusted resource,” he said. “That fits well with IMEG’s approach, and presents exciting growth potential for our staff, clients, and teaming partners.”
“We are excited to welcome Lilker to our team and deepen our bench of expertise in New York and D.C.,” said IMEG president/CEO Paul VanDuyne. “Their strong client focus and innovative technical skills are two vital characteristics that are consistent with IMEG’s priorities and will complement our full-service offerings as we continue to expand in New York State and along the East Coast.”
Lilker and senior management, including Steve Hammer, David Tanenbaum, Serge Budzyn, Kabi Pandey and Lou Licameli will continue in leadership roles, overseeing team operations and serving as principals. The firm will continue to operate out of its current offices, doing business as Lilker, an IMEG company.
